A rare visitor to the islands of western Alaska, mostly in spring. Very rare on the mainland. Has strayed as far south as California, but similar birds seen away from Alaska are probably pale American Robins.

8 1/2" (22 cm). Pale brown on back, gray on head, pale orange below. Like a washed-out American Robin but with gray chest, white eyebrow, no white tail corners.
