White-throated Thrush
At a Glance
This shy forest thrush lives in tropical mountains as far north as northern Mexico. Exceptionally harsh winter weather may sometimes drive it into the lowlands; a few times during such conditions, single individuals have been found in extreme southern Texas. Formerly called White-throated Robin.
