About the Artist:听, also known as FIFTY or FFTY,听is听a听self-taught multidisciplinary artist based in Detroit whose techniques include photography, murals, prints, and tattoos.听He tries to convey happy and fun expressions: His work tends to deal with cartoon-based illustrations and the abstraction of colors and shapes playing together. He's a听big fan of听the simple and cute qualities of听听and anime.听鈥淚 felt听both birds looked really cute and small,鈥 he says of the bird species he painted. 鈥淚 chose the Bay-breasted Warbler because of its beautiful color, and I picked the Semipalmated Plover because I听liked its detail above the beak. They remind me of听听of birds, or something听that is smaller in stature compared to the majority.鈥
