We鈥檙e down to our top four people鈥檚 choice finalists! Today鈥檚 matchup, we鈥檝e got the surfing bird versus the black-crowned night heron. The winner of this Feathered Four round will take on the other Feathered Four winner (contest starting Thursday) in our championship match. Next week we鈥檒l have our winner!
Here鈥檚 how our game has worked until now. Each round of the Soaring Sixteen, we posted two entries from this year鈥檚 . (Check out our , announced last week, if you haven鈥檛 seen them yet.) Those winners went head to head in our Egret Eight round. The top quartet makes it to the Feathered Four, then two onto the championship match.
Nearly 2,000 votes have so far helped us choose the winners of our Soaring Sixteen and Egret Eight rounds. The ultimate victor of Bird Madness will appear on , along with a story about how he or she captured the shot.
