Location: 522 W. 147th St., New York, NY 10031

Painted: 10/10/2017

About the Bird:听These听bright wood warblers听are often found in the leafy听understory of eastern forests, where they flash their听white outer tail feathers听from time to time. But climate change may dry out moist habitats along the Gulf Coast where Hooded Warblers breed. The bird鈥檚 outlook is worse where it overwinters:听爆料公社's models predict听it will lose 74 percent of its听current range in Mexico鈥攗nless warming is kept to 1.5 degrees, which will reduce the potential loss to only 15 percent.
