David Jeffrey Ringer is a birder, a naturalist, and a writer. He is a co-founder of  and before that, he worked at ±¬ÁϹ«Éç for nearly twelve years. He was ±¬ÁϹ«Éç's front-line PR manager on the Gulf Coast during the 2010 BP oil disaster and led communications for the RESTORE Act campaign. He then served as ±¬ÁϹ«Éç's national communications director, and then chief network and communications officer, leading ±¬ÁϹ«Éç's communications, chapter relations, and Bird-Friendly Communities work, and founding ±¬ÁϹ«Éç on Campus.
