Cuyahoga National Park in northeastern Ohio, near the Cuyahoga River, has a lush landscape of forested wetlands, lakes, streams, and native plants, including more than 90 species of grasses, such as Indian grass and big bluestem. The park provides habitat for 250 bird species, like the Baltimore Oriole, Great Blue Heron, Eastern Bluebird, and Bald Eagle, returning to the park after 70 years, as well as the Red-tailed Hawk, Great Horned Owl, and numerous warblers, vireos, and flycatchers.
